Gaire Village, Central Province, Papua New Guinea

At Olgeta Foundation, we believe that meaningful humanitarian assistance is about more than delivering donations. It is about building lasting relationships, staying connected with communities and continuing to support them as their needs evolve.

Over the years, Olgeta Foundation, with the generous support of Del Cole and her organisation, Someone Who Cares, has helped provide essential supplies to Gaire Village, including beds and equipment for the local healthcare facility.

Recently, Murray Thistlethwaite returned to Gaire Village on behalf of Olgeta Foundation to follow up on our previous assistance, reconnect with the community and deliver additional donated supplies to the village aid post and school.

Following this visit, Murray also delivered further items, continuing our efforts to provide practical assistance where it is needed.

We would like to extend a particularly heartfelt thank you to Del Cole and Someone Who Cares, who generously donated all the equipment and supplies provided to Gaire Village.

Their kindness, generosity and ongoing commitment to helping communities in Papua New Guinea make initiatives like this possible.

Through our collaboration, donated resources reach communities where they can make a meaningful difference.

For Olgeta Foundation, these follow-up visits are essential to our mission.

We want to ensure that our relationships with the communities we support continue long after the initial delivery of supplies.

By returning, listening and maintaining regular contact, we can better understand local needs and explore opportunities for further assistance.

We also sincerely thank Murray Thistlethwaite for his time, dedication and efforts in delivering the donated supplies and maintaining our connection with the Gaire community.

A special thank you to Del Cole and Someone Who Cares for their extraordinary generosity and for sharing our commitment to helping the people of Papua New Guinea.

Together, we hope to continue making a positive difference — not only through the supplies we provide, but through the relationships we build and the communities we support.

Because real community support doesn't end with a donation. It continues through care, cooperation and lasting relationships.

Olgeta Foundation — Supporting Communities, Building Lasting Relationships.
