Craig de Wit

Growing up in Papua New Guinea, Craig developed a deep understanding of its people and their cultural diversity. He's worked in the country for over 35 years, and has owned and operated live-aboard vessels and navigated around the oceans and remote regions for some time.

 

As part of this career, Craig has been involved in many small-scale aid programs—for example, providing educational material for rural schools, first aid kits and medicines to villages, and helping communities develop sustainable tourism ventures.

 

Craig also currently owns and operates PNGYS, which provides logistic and operational support to private yachts that travel to PNG to experience its cultures, pristine landscapes, and nature above and below the water.

 

Craig is also involved in a new capital venture investigating ways to monetize conservation efforts so they can be profitable for indigenous landowners.
